Payment Information
Deposits, bank transfers and refunds explained.
Payment options
- Deposit — pay an agreed deposit, and the rest as agreed (usually at the venue).
- Full payment — pay the whole session fee, with nothing left to pay.
- Payment arrangement — ask for a different amount or due date, including paying later. An organiser will agree it with you.
You choose your preferred option when you book, and an organiser confirms it. The price and deposit for each session are shown when you book.
How to pay
- We take payment by bank transfer only.
- Please don't pay straight after booking. An organiser agrees your payment first: how much, and by when. Approving your place and agreeing your payment are separate, so a confirmed booking can still have a balance to pay if that's what was agreed.
- Once your payment is agreed, the amount, due date and bank details appear on Check My Booking, or the organiser sends them to you.
- Always use your booking reference (e.g. SP-7KQ4MZ2D) as the payment reference, so we can match your payment.
- A confirmed booking isn't cancelled automatically just because a payment is late.
- Organisers check payments by hand, so it can take a little while to show on Check My Booking.
- On the waiting list? Don't pay until your place is confirmed.
Refunds
- Cancel at least 24 hours before the session starts for a full refund of anything you've paid.
- After that, there's no fixed deduction: an organiser decides any refund case by case, fairly and in proportion to the club's actual loss (for example, whether your place was filled).
- If the club cancels a session, or can't offer you a place, any money you've paid is reviewed for a refund.
- All cancellations and refunds are at the organiser's discretion.
Refunds are checked and sent back by bank transfer by an organiser, so they aren't instant. You can see a refund's progress on Check My Booking.
